Page history last edited by Bruce Mason 4 years, 7 months ago

This is a group for a fan-produced B5 virtual card game inspired by the old Babylon 5 CCG. This is a non-commercial, just for fun game. It’s a virtual game because the graphical representations of cards are only available as graphic files online.

To get your head around what’s going on, please follow these links:

  • Rules
  • Sets
    • Signs & Portents
    • The Coming of Shadows
    • Point of No Return
    • No Surrender, No Retreat
    • Wheel of Fire

This is a living game with cards being released for open playtesting in virtual episode “packs” and season “sets.”

To PBWorks Michael Here

Over the last few years well actually a lot longer than that probably dating back to when Precedence was doing this I have put together a possible Babylon 5 CCG card List ideals ( And their Lore Effects ) that could ( where suitable Screen Shots from the B5 TV series are available inc the ones that I already have ) make up a full set of around 375 possible gaming CCG Virtual cards to add to the overall gameplay in Babylon 5!!

To Whom would I submit my Card Ideas?? And how would I need to go about doing this as I'm not too sure!! I have most of the Babylon CCG cards ( the Precedence Printed ones ) before they became very rare and very tough to get along with Playing Mats, Token counters, Individual protection pockets and sheets, and the standard set of rules and a few Cardlists too. I'm still collecting them where ever I can to complete a near double set of them and have most of your PB works virtual download cards too at the moment I'm mainly a collector having only every played it one time though I do believe that there maybe a group here in Galashiels that get together and play such games with such CCG cards??

Hi Michael, the short answer is that the game has well and truly gone beyond the rim. There is no one to submit card ideas too, no players committee or equivalent and, for all intents and purposes, no one playing it.

My group finally gave up on playing the game about 4 years ago because the game had become unplayable. I don't think we managed to finish a game in 3 years.

I will, at some point, put information about a remastered version of Anla'Shok. No gameplay changes but improved card graphics. The Vorlons expansion will be taken down because, basically, it's not very good.

I don't know of anyone playing in Galashiels.

My current B5 project is this virtual "reboot" as a LCG. It is purely for personal use and non-commercial. At some point I will see if I can persuade 3-4 people in Edinburgh to give it a go. If you're interested, let me know and I'll include you. Odds are against it but that's always the case with B5.
